WHY RISE?

RISE stands for Reinforce, Innovate, Strengthen, and Empower—and that’s exactly what we do for nonprofits in Merced County.

Backed by the Central California Alliance for Health (CCAH), the RISE Program provides expert support without the full-time cost. Think of it like having a part-time dream team: professionals in finance, fundraising, HR, grant writing, and more—working alongside your nonprofit to build capacity and grow your impact.

Whether you need help with board development, compliance, CalAIM Enhanced Care Management (ECM), or Community Supports (CS), RISE is here to lighten the load so you can focus on your mission.

  • The RISE Program, supported by the Central California Alliance for Health (CCAH), provides expert fractional staffing and customized support to nonprofits. This means you can access professional services like financial management, grant writing, and administrative support—all without the full cost of hiring full-time staff.

Whether it’s assistance with board development, HR and compliance, or preparing your organization for CalAIM Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports (CS), we’re here to help you make a lasting impact in Merced County.

  • Our program unfolds in three key phases:

    1. Organizational Assessment
We start with a deep dive into your organization’s needs and goals, evaluating areas like financial health, marketing, and board effectiveness.

    2. Pilot Support
Nine organizations will receive one year of free, intensive support, including access to fractional staffing and mentorship in grant writing and fundraising.

    3. Capacity Building
We help you prepare for future growth, including training in healthcare program management and Community Health Worker (CHW) services.

    • Cost-Effective Expertise
Access executive-level services at a fraction of the cost of hiring full-time staff.

    • Tailored Support
Services are customized to fit your nonprofit’s unique needs.

    • Build Capacity
Strengthen your organization’s infrastructure and sustainability for long-term success.

    • Confidentiality
All your data remains secure and proprietary to your organization.

  • Currently, the RISE Program is invite-only and focuses on nonprofits with a health-related mission. If your organization aligns with this focus, we encourage you to reach out and explore how RISE can help achieve your goals.
