Photography Exhibition: Letters Home

Starting November 7th, Heartland Creative Corps recipient Thelma Saldivar will unveil the first part of her Heartland Project, Letters Home! This project will use photography to generate a sense of value, understanding, respect, and empathy for the experiences of immigrants and refugees starting a new life within the community. Letters Home is meant to be a space to allow immigrant and refugee students to share the story of their resettlement experiences and achievements with their families in their native countries.
